The fund never buys.

Every CREEL fund follows a written rule. When the rule changes, the basket doesn’t get traded. It gets republished, and arbitrage does the rest.

6 rows are funds we do not operate. NAV for those is computed independently by us from published holdings, so it can differ from the operator’s own figure. CREEL is not affiliated with those funds or their operators.

How it works

Zero. Market orders a CREEL fund can place. There is no code path that opens one, on a rebalance or on any other day.

A rule, not a list

The creator does not pick the holdings. They write the mandate, in one sentence: top ten by volume, everything that graduated in the last seven days, equal weight, weekly. A keeper proposes the basket that satisfies it, and the contract checks that proposal against the mandate before it can execute. A proposal that fails returns the code of the constraint it broke.

In kind, both ways

Anyone can hand the contract the exact basket and create shares, or burn shares and take a basket out. Creations settle against the target basket, redemptions settle pro rata against what the fund actually holds. When the share price drifts from NAV, closing that gap is profitable, so it gets closed.

The fund never trades

A rebalance publishes a new target. It does not execute one. The old basket and the new target diverge, that divergence shows up as a basis, and create and redeem walk the portfolio across. No slippage, no market orders from a fund contract, nothing for anyone to trade ahead of.
